When my wife Karla and I turned 50 a few years ago, we celebrated with a huge birthday party.
Relatives and friends from all over the US attended our birthday party and it was tons of fun.
This seemingly insignificant gathering started a trend in our family...

This pattern has continued for several years now and has recently passed its baton to the 4th child in the Lefty and Ida Mae Seyer family.
Jane has been planning her 50th birthday party for a couple years now...
It was held at the Oran Missouri Knights of Columbus hall located just across Highway 77 from my parents house.
Great fun, dancing, and food were present at the party and (of course) I took some pictures...
